Hi there,
I wanted to buy a thong (e.g. 998 1015) to make up into necklets and bracelets, but don't know what findings I could order to use on the ends. Please can you advise?
Many thanks,
Barclaybear

Do you mean like this?
Boo's Jewellery: Tutorial: wrap your own cord ends (http://boojewels.blogspot.com/2009/09/tutorial-wrap-your-own-cord-ends.html)

No (although really like the article and have bookmarked for future use so ta for that :Y:).

I just don't know how you go about attaching findings to leather. Am assuming there's some sort of clasp that you can pinch so that it grabs onto the leather so that it's safe, but don't know which one I should be ordering

Specially important to know this now it's a freeby postage w/e at Cookies!!

Sadly, this is one of the glaring gaps in Cookson's findings inventory. You can great some excellent crimp on cord ends from other suppliers however.

NVO 116X
Great little finding. I use them a lot. I have to admit, I've never found them on the site before - the findings categories are very, very hard to navigate.

But, did you realise they're approximately HALF that price elsewhere?

I've never come across these crimp endcaps on Cooksons either George although I have looked for them - I probably don't add the right search term. I get them elsewhere...

Glad it's not just me then Kym!

How hard would it be to have the 1659 items in the range just subdivided a little?. I'm sure there's other stuff in there that I'd love to buy, but simply never see because it's called something slightly different, or I don't know what category it would be in to start with.

oooh that has a familiar ring to it George - when I was a newbie I often tripped over supplies while looking at one of the things I needed then saw other items at the bottom of the page but hadn't known how to find them on the site.

Thanks for the feedback, we know our search facility is a bit challenging sometimes but watch this space! A new one is on it's way and we're just deciding how quickly we can make it operational. Until then please call us if you can't find anything

I've used the NVO 116X ones on leather thongs and they are really neat.

Hi, Does anyone know where I could get something like this to fit the ends of sowzere strings...? Or is there a better way to finish them?

Thanks
