Hello all!

It has been ages since I was on the forum so hope you are all well and not too cold!

I am quite nervous in posting some of my photos of what I have made since I am still a newby and am still learning, if I may add, I'm self taught and am learning from books. Some of the pieces need a final polishing and finishing off.

I started in September and have moved on slightly from PMC - see what you think. If you want to see more have a look at my album, I shall be adding more pictures soon. The pictures are not that great, I think next I must learn how to take photos!! :)

Take care and chat soon

Angie

Gee thanks for the confidence boost! :ta:

I seem to do things backwards - the hardest things first then learn the easy bits!

I love the flower. I presume that's PMC. I second the comment that these are all great for a noob. When I started, it was all piercing and hammering. Very basic stuff.

Oh wow, many many thanks for all your wonderfull comments! I shall certain take on board about the props! To answer a couple of your questions .....

The 3rd picture is square wire that I had cut a groove on side so the stone was suspended from it, a bit like the tension setting. The stone is a white CZ, it is only soldered one side and squeezed together surrounding the stone and by gosh the wire will not budge now even if I tried to open it I cant unless I use pliars.

The Flower was meant to be a flame lilly and yes it was made from PMC3, gee wiz that was a pain!

The 5th picture was easier to do, the stones are topaz and CZ's.

I have found that setting stones are relatively easy (when I am having a good day:)), have had a few blunders but I think we all have those moments.

Once again thank you for comments, they are really appreciated.

Hi Angie,

You've made some lovely stuff. Especially like the crossed piece with the mounted stone. Think you've done really well with your piccies and their composition. Keep going!!! :Y:
