hi all .
can you give me some advice on how can I stop a coppery color.
cos I working on a hand made bracelet , and when I put it in the pickle
it come our a copper color. :-O

Would it be a copper bracelet by any chance? - that might be the problem.

Maybe if we saw a picture of the bracelet Student lass, we may be able to help more.

If you think the two might be linked, you could always ask a Moderator or Administrator if they share the same IP address... Not entirely conclusive, but a start.

If the bracelet is silver, then the copper colour may be due to iron or steel in the pickle causing copper to plate out of solution onto the silver owing to the differing electrode potentials.
