560 amber cufflinks.

561dichroic glass earring stud.

as promised heres a picture of the tree i made for a local school.

all forged in mild steel.branches are 30mm and 20mm in diameter.
with a few bits of 16mm too.has rings fited to it for the kids to hang stuff
from.A friend of mine is hopfully making some stained glass leaves for it.

I really can't comment on workmanship etc. because I'd be a hypocryte as I haven't really made much yet.

However I do love those amber cufflinks especially and the tree is pretty cool, I can imagine the stained glass leaves on it too.

I thought the jewellery was good then i saw the tree WOW!! it really would look awesome with stained glass window leaves!

WOW, that tree is utterly amazing and I can really imagine how good the stained glass leaves will look on it :Y:

the tree was £5,000
£800 of that was what the bath stone base cost to the forge.

took about 2 weeks to make on and off.
i had to wire brush all the scale off and polish the ends of the branches.
the tree has been lacquered to stop rust.

it weighs about 450kg in total with the base.

i intend to make one out of silver when i get the time and have the money
to buy the silver needed.
going to use it for displaying jewellery.

I looked it up for fun earlier (it's quiet around here - have to get my kicks where I can ;))

Amazing work!

Had a google...didn't realise there were so many forges in the Bristol area. The one I knew about was Almondsbury as I pass it every so often.

Tree is awesome and rubover bezel work on those cabs is so neat and tidy it's unreal.:Y:

just thought i'd share a picture with you.
this is the 18ct white gold engagement ring i made for my brother.
diamond is 1/3 ct.

and is this stuff hard as nails to use.
