In case you haven't noticed I am back. As those of you who are on FB know I went to Budapest for a short break....to keep this jewellery related if anyone needs tips on a) good bead/ hobby shops b) good places to see jewellery (shops, museums) I can help! I can post some pics of jewellery from museums if anyone is interested!

Yes please...love to see photos! I know nothing about the history and art of Hungary. Is it sort of Baroque-ish?

This is part of a medieval belt buckle
the last one was an enamelled buckle.
It does look like lalique....

It is lovely over there! Plus everyone speaks great English, so if like me you can't get your tongue round hungarian words you will be OK! (I can manage please and thank-you LOL)
I will certainly be going back :)
we got a great deal through last minute. About £450, central 4* hotel, flights for two, four days.
