Morning,

Months ago I bought a claw making jig, but have never been able to figure out how to use the darn thing! It didn't come with any kind of guide and I am now throwing myself at the mercy of the intelligent bods on the forum!

Thanks

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

I have looked for a jig for you on the web, but to no avail. I am not sure if these two links below may help, but am sure others will come along and help out!

Did you buy it secondhand? If there is a manufacturers mark on it you may be able to contact them and ask for a copy of the instructions?

This one here says it comes with instructions Claw Jig (http://www.stuller.com/products/product.aspx?gid=60546)

Thanks everyone, the riddle of the jig has now been solved, thanks Peter for the link, it was of course obvious, but I had it my head that it was going to do something far more glamourous than just hold the wire in place, oh well !!

Nicci - thanks for the good advice... I bought it from Cooksons and was going to ask them, but thought that someone here may have one and used one before, so called in at our friendly one-stop helpshop first!!

I use different sized colletts from a dremmel help in a large pin vice, you can get different sizes, cheap as chips and works everytime.:)
