Engraving machine

Hi I currently pay someone to engrave charms for me but would like to start doing it myself can anyone recommend a good engraving machine that I can start off with please for sterling silver charms

What sort of engraving are you looking for, and what's your budget? If it's just lettering & dates, a pantograph machine might do what you're after inexpensively, but there's a multitude of machines in the CNC world from impact to router-based up to lasers (which start to get very expensive for silver...).
