I do use those type of discs for filing away excess metal. I must admit I'd never thought to use them to facet metal balls though!

In India, its used only for facetting metal balls.

Dear Patni,
Thank you for your new video. It's not clear what tool you are using there, but it looks like a small grind stone, with a square shape.
You obviously need solid gold balls to do this.

I have used diamond tools here.
I will make a new video and show the complete process.
Also,
It is used for various purposes.
It can cut solid gold balls.
It can cut side frames of colet
it can cut chains

I will make a video on it again .

Diamond flywheel tool. Popular in the 80s; there's not many seem to do it any more in the UK.
