Here's an easy one - everyone has a favourite quote and below are a few of mine
(hope there aren't any amateur Psychologists on the forum, lol)

"OK, how do I look?"
"Like a woman about to go forth and sin."
"Oh good, exactly the look I was hoping for."
Mermaids (Yes the movie with Cher in)

Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.
As Good As it Gets (One of my all time favourite movies)

Everybody just pretend to be normal.
Little Miss Sunshine (Another of my all time favourite movies)

Wit is Educated Insolence
Aristotle (that's the oldest quote I know)

The Sign of True Intelligence is not Knowledge
But Imagination
Albert Einstein (Good enough for Einstein - good enough for me!)

and finally the quote I have above my workbench
"Where the Spirit
Does not Work
With the Hand,
There is no Art...."
Leonardo Da Vinci

So, what are your favourite quotes?

I love quotes, I used to collect them at one point on an old website I made!

My favourites have to be:

It's only when you have lost everything that you are truly free to do anything ~ Tyler Durden (Fight Club)

Believe ~ IJM (a friend of mines quote for me... one word that might not make sense to alot of people but means a whole lot to me :) )
That which does not kill us, makes us stronger ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option ~ Anon

Everything will be ok in the end. IF it's not OK, it's not the end ~ Unknown

I love your quotes Nicola - excellent.

The one I have above my desk is
'You never know what you can do until you try'

It keeps me going when I've made a mistake or buggered something up... if its not right, then try again, until it is!

The one I have stuck to my monitor is cut from a magazine and simply says 'suck on this' - it's what I look at when talking to annoying clients on the phone.

At college I had this stuck to my door at eye level 'first is everything, second is nothing' - it was my mantra as I wanted to get a 1st and it worked as I did.

Apart from that I don't really use quotes very much - I quote from songs and films occassionally when appropriate, but nothing of any worth to note down here, I don't think.

Oooh that's going in my book!
Reminds me of this one:
"Here is a test to find whether your mission on earth is finished:
If you are alive, it isn’t."
Richard Bach
