I've never used white gold before, so I am intending to buy some white gold ring blanks from Cooksons.
However, does this need to be Rhodium plated?
It says it's unfinished and I was assuming I could just polish up the ring and it was done.

If it's for a wedding ring, can it just be polished as is and worn?

Thanks for your help

It can be just be polished yes . It may have a slight yellow tinge to it but it will look fine some people even prefer this to Rhodium, At the moment Rhodium is about £2k a litre so you will probs be thanked that it won't need redoing periodically. If you can get high palladium white gold this is whiter.

Thanks so much for that. I've just been chatting to my friend who wants the ring, and she wants it to match her platinum engagement ring, so I'm guessing it will need to be rhodium plated.
Can anyone recommend a good company? I've used Elliot Fitzpatrick before but just for rose gold plating.

Thank you so much

Just bite the bullet and use platinum does not need to be plated and will match the ring better
