Hello all. Hope you are all keeping safe and well. I am looking for instructions and/or diagrams as to how to make a flat catch for a bangle. I am sure I have seen same somewhere but I just can’t find it! Any ideas please.....
David.

Although not a true tutorial, this gives a good insight and you would be able to work from it

If your bangle is to have a hinge, as I presume it must, then you can secure it using another hinge, but with a captive split pin, which can be partly withdrawn.

My acrylic cuff illustrates this, but uses jump rings instead of tubing. One jump ring is divided by a sliver of silver, to hold the pin of the catch captive. Dennis.

Here is a video which shows the making of a snap box. It's not really a refined catch but it suits the chunky nature of the bracelet.

This one shows a cylindrical box catch/ snap box.

Maybe chunky but quite a challenge to make. Thanks. Pity about the music!
