Oh my goodness this is sooooo exciting!
Just found out that I'm one of the four finalists in the Silver Clay category of
Beads & Beyond Jewellery maker of the year competition!!!

From the four finalists, one winner and three runners up will be chosen.
The winner will be announced at the Artisan Show near Lemington Spa on Saturday 3rd October at 12.30pm (http://www.beadsandbeyondmagazine.com/article.aspx?a=4434)....
and the work will be on display there :)

We've been asked to keep the details of our entries under wraps,
Whatever the outcome it's an honour to be chosen...

all i have to say in my defence lol is that there really wasent a catergory for mine and i should never have entered lol the B&B lot thought that my Lentil was PMC but i put them right and offered to pull out but they wouldent hear of it so i was in the stringing and linking catergory thank goodness not in the silverclay lot.

Nic is such a genorous Lady she was sharing out her prize with the runners up!

we had a blast of a day and again thanks to Nic i took part in a stamping demo lol, brilliant but trying not to get hooked on that to xx

hmm i dont think they messed me about i just dont think they knew where to put me as i hadent specified a catergory the PMC was 2 small charms and the chain maiille was just small linckage sections but i was happy to be there and part of it and to meet Nic we had a great time, non of my girly friends share my pasion they like buying it but not the concept of making it and i had loads of compliments on my work so it cant get much better than that can it xx

Oh my goodness we ate and drank sooooo much :D
It was supposed to be a belated anniversary and early Howards Birthday dinner
but it turned into a triple celebration!

Complements of the chef were two teeny mini egg flan appetisers (YUM!)
Then I had Goats Cheese and Sundried Tomato Tartlet (with a delicious salad)
Then arrived the Lemon Sorbet (palate cleanser) before
Venison in Chocolate Sauce (ooooohhhh oooohhhh heaven!)
After that I was too full for the spectacular deserts so had a very tasty Grapefruit and Manderin Sorbet.

Hubbies meal was equally delicious and he had a Chocolate Port to go with his
Main of Barbary Duck breast....Lots of wine and a slight hangover this morning!
