If you want to get to grips with polishing, get hold of Masterpolisher Stephen Goldsmith's book Polishing and Finishing. Everything you need to know about what brush, what compound

We're not a school, Richard. We can't teach you everything, only hold your hand when you stumble. Dennis.

I use 3 stages in my method and expect the metal to be prepared up to a minimum of 2000 grit the higher the number the better.
So start off with a black bristle brush and I use brushing emery compound and this removes fire stain too, move on to a B mop (cream) with Tripoli or brown bar of choice and then a Reflex Calico mop (white) and use rouge, you can clean between stages in the ultrasonic and the last compound I use is Menzerna 175 for yellow metal or M5 for white metals, this is used with a soft white mop for extra gloss. I do plenty of demonstrations on my Instagram grid.
I have been invited to the USA to teach at Sawtooth and in Miami too.
Good luck https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200629/8e02c6a3526eb281765b907ec72ee4cc.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200629/7ecc9b1fbdc711fcbef03321decfd0fc.jpg
