Ok I have made up my mind, well I thought I had, due to couple of comments I have decided to seek the opinions of forum members

Do you think that a pink Diamond would be complimented with blue Sapphires in the same piece of jewellery ( a ring ) or do you thick they would clash

I have the Diamond the Sapphires are on their way, should have mentioned the ring will be rose gold, the Diamond is 7mm ( most expensive stone I have ever used ) Sapphires are 3 mm planing on placing two each side of the diamond in line along
the band

Provided the sapphires aren't too dark, I'd say they'd go together very happily indeed!

Thanks for the replies, seem to agree with my choice, I had a couple of people who thought it would look terrible, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I'm sure the beholder will love it, before you ask yes I will post pics, planning
on showing the creating process.

Just depends on the shade of blue I think, and also, of course, personal choice.
A 7mm pink diamond must have cost a pretty penny!

The Sapphires are supposed to be reasonably light we will see when they arrive and yes it cost lots and lots of pretty pennies, one plus is
next year Pink diamonds will no longer be mined. The Argyle mine is closing as the yield is no longer viable, when the mine closes Pink Diamonds will double in value.
