London Blue topaz color after ring resizing

Hi,

I guess it's dumb question, but I try to ask anyway :D
I wanted to resize sterling silver ring with London Blue Topaz in it. I covered the stone with cooling paste, soldered the seam. After removing cooling paste I noticed that topaz turned almost colorless, very light blue shade. Is it possible to recover the color of London Blue topaz? :D Maybe reheat it without cooling paste, will it work? Thank you!

I Don't think anyone here would know, but I don't think it would work. They start off clear and are turned blue by irradiation. Your best remedy now would be to unset it and replace it. Dennis.
