Overlap the 2 ends being careful to keep the bangle round in shape.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-4-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4308\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-4-MC-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Step-4-MC\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><strong>Step 5.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make the end pieces , roll out a cut off from the bangle to 2.25 x 0.8mm, with a pliers carefully bend into a hook shape.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-5-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4309\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-5-MC-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Step-5-MC\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6.<\/strong><br \/>\nPut the strip over the overlapped section and carefully trying not to mark the bangle bend the strip around the overlapped section, not too tight though<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-6-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4310\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-6-MC-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Step-6-MC\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cut through the end with a saw where they overlap<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-7-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4311\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-7-MC-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Step-7-MC\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bend the end pieces so they join to form a good join, solder them with hard solder if possible.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-8-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4312\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-8-MC-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Step-8-MC\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pop the ends on the bangle. Keep the sides with the join, on the inside of the bangle so they are underneath so there&#8217;s no chance of seeing the joins when wearing the bangle (although we will buff and polish the joins).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-9-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4313\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-9-MC-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Step-9-MC\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 10.<\/strong><br \/>\nPinch the end pieces in place so they don&#8217;t move around. Make sure they are straight and flush with the ends of the bangle. Solder them in place with easy or medium solder. Make sure you don&#8217;t let the solder flow around and underneath the bangle and solder both parts together. Concentrate the heat on just the area to be soldered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget you will be soldering one end piece to the top side of the bangle and the other end piece to the inside of the bangle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-11-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4314\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-11-MC-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Step-11-MC\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 12.<\/strong><br \/>\nPinch the side if the end pieces to loosen them after soldering.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-12-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-12-MC-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Step-12-MC\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 13.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now its just a case of cleaning up any marks with a buff and then polishing.<\/p>\n<p>Top Tip: You can add an optional centre piece on the top of the bangle &#8211; I am going to add a daisy design!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-13-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4316\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-13-MC-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Step-13-MC\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 14.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pierce out a flower shape from some 1mm sheet<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-14-MC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4317\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Step-14-MC-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Step-14-MC\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 15.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You could make a feature within the flower e.g. setting a stone in the centre, or you could melt some silver or gold into a ball in the centre instead.<\/p>\n<p>Top Tip: To make the setting, use a piece of tube, then cut a seat for the stone before placing the stone in.
