Leave to cool for a minute and then pick each disc up using tweezers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quench these in water, then add to a warm safety pickle solution. Leave in the solution for 5 minutes or until clean. Remove from the safety pickle solution using plastic or brass tweezers.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1536\" height=\"2048\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_6896.jpeg\" alt=\"Anneal silver discs using a blow torch\" class=\"wp-image-24133\" style=\"object-fit:cover;width:384px;height:512px\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step Two<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When clean and dry place a silver disc on the steel block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discs may already be stamped \u2018925\u2019 and you may wish to have this on the reverse on the disc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You could use double sided tape on the steel block to hold the disc securely on the steel block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/Metal-Stamping\/-Range=ImpressArt_Design_Stamps\/-Alloy=0\/-Style=0\/-Type=0\/-Shape=0\/-Brand=0\/-Font=0\/-Size=0\/&amp;prdsearch=y\">stamp<\/a> (image face down) onto your silver disc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Double check the image or letter is in the right place and will be the right way up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hold the stamp in place with one hand and hit the top of the stamp with a household hammer or ImpressArt hammer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repeat this on all 3 discs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/Findings\/Sterling-Silver-Round-Disc-10mm----Stamping-Blank-Pack-of-5-With-2----Holes,-100-Recycled-Silver-prcode-NVJ-574X\">10mm discs<\/a> come as a pack of 5 so if you make a mistake or are unhappy with how the stamped disc has turned out, you have 2 spare!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/Metal-Stamping\/ImpressArt-Stamp-Sticker-Guide-Set-prcode-999-I328\">Impress Art guide stickers<\/a> can help to line up and guide where you want your letter or shape to be stamped. Twist one pair of pliers back to close the jump ring flush. Twist one pair of pliers back to close the jump ring flush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repeat on the other side so your 3 discs are now in the middle of your chain bracelet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step Ten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/Jewellery-Tools\/Reverse-Action-Tweezers,-Set-Of-2,-Straight-And-Curved-Tips,-With-----Insulated-Grips-prcode-999-987A\">reverse action tweezers<\/a>, hold the jump ring and a small amount of solder paste to cover the join on the jump ring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat the jump ring gently with a hand blow torch until the solder melts and flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leave to cool for a minute and then quench in water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repeat this process for the second jump ring (soldering the jump ring and cooling in water).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Add the joined discs to a warm safety pickle solution and leave for 5 minutes or until clean.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1536\" height=\"2048\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_6954.jpeg\" alt=\"Solder jump ring using a blow torch\" class=\"wp-image-24142\" style=\"object-fit:cover;width:384px;height:512px\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step Eleven<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To polish, you can rub the bracelet with a silver polishing cloth.
