Transform classic Silver stacking rings into a timeless Silver Rope Necklace following the steps below. <\/p>\n\n\n

Step 1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Open the oval jump ring<\/a> by gripping either side of the ends with flat nose<\/a>, chain nose<\/a>, or snipe nose pliers<\/a> and twist gently in opposite directions.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Add two of the stacking rings<\/a> onto the open jump ring.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n

Step 3 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Close the oval jump ring<\/a> by gripping either side of the ends with flat nose, chain nose or snipe nose pliers and twist in opposite directions. Repeat this process to add another jump ring on to the same two stacking rings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 4 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Add a small amount of solder paste to each jump ring<\/a>, join and heat using a hand blow torch until the solder has melted and flowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure the solder paste does not touch any area that you don’t want to be soldered. You might want to use reverse action tweezers to hold the jump ring in place and steady.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Quench the Silver rings in water and add to a warm pickle to clean. Once dry, check the solder joins are securely soldered.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 6 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Add the next Silver ring using the same technique of opening the jump rings<\/a>, adding on the Silver ring, closing the jump rings and soldering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cool the Silver rings in water and add to a warm pickle to clean. Once dry, check the solder joins.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 7 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Add jump rings to either side of the Silver rings<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open the oval jump ring by gripping either side of the ends with flat nose<\/a>, chain nose<\/a> or snipe nose pliers<\/a> and twist in opposite directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the jump ring onto the Silver ring. Close the oval jump ring<\/a> by gripping either side of the ends with flat nose\/chain nose\/snipe nose pliers and twist in opposite directions.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 8<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Smooth the solder joins using micromesh or emery sticks<\/a> if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 10 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Polish the Silver chain using a polishing cloth or put in a barrel tumbling polishing machine with steel shot, barrel brite and water for \u00bd an hour or until shiny.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 11<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thread one trace chain<\/a> through the end jump ring<\/a> and stop halfway, thread another trace chain on the opposite side halfway.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 12<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To wear, join each bold clasp to the opposite trace chain.<\/p>\n\n\n
