Why not try this easy to make square rose pendent project by Kavitha Balakrishnan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In addition to the kit list, you will also need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A toothpick<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/category_select.jsp?channel=uk&amp;query=silver+chain+\">A<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/Finished-Chain\/-Alloy=Silver\/-Style=0\/-Type=0\/-Length=0\/-Width=0\/&amp;prdsearch=y&amp;show=N\"> silver chain<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make your silver clay jewellery pendant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"299\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Projects-PMC-Silver-Clay-Square-Rose-by-Kavitha-Balakrishnan-Intermediate-14-copy.jpg\" alt=\"rolling silver clay\" class=\"wp-image-15456\" style=\"aspect-ratio:4\/3;object-fit:cover\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Create the Square<\/strong><br>Roll the silver clay to around 2.0mm thick using the roller and spacers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Place the brass stencil design on top of the clay and roll it lightly.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use a knife or a square cutter to cut the clay to a square shape around 20mm long. Pierce a hole which we will use to insert jump ring later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Projects-PMC-Silver-Clay-Square-Rose-by-Kavitha-Balakrishnan-Intermediate-18-copy.jpg\" alt=\"adding texture to silver clay jewellery\" class=\"wp-image-15457\" style=\"aspect-ratio:4\/3;object-fit:cover\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Insert the Prong<\/strong><br>Take the prong and insert a white stone into it and close it with a help of a prong pusher, using it to push gently on the prongs until they move over and secure the stone. Then insert the entire finding on the pendant by pushing it down onto the silver clay until it is secure in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Optional: You can round the edges of the pendant at this stage<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"272\" height=\"204\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/step3_pendant.jpg\" alt=\"moulded into rose shape\" class=\"wp-image-24615\" style=\"aspect-ratio:4\/3;object-fit:cover\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Create the Roses.<\/strong><br>Take another small clay ball and press it in the rose mould then move and cut small roses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wet the roses at the bottom with a lightly watered brush and place each rose on the bottom of the square pendant.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 4<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fire and Polish.<\/strong><br>With needle files, carefully remove the excess clay on all sides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then fire the pendant at the temperature that has been given with the clay in the instructions book or on the packaging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After firing remove the white residue with a brass brush gently. Polish it with a polishing cloth or put it in a Barrelling Machine to tumble.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 5<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"272\" height=\"204\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cooksongold.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/step5pendant.jpg\" alt=\"silver clay jewellery\" class=\"wp-image-24617\" style=\"aspect-ratio:4\/3;object-fit:cover\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Finish<\/strong><br>Polish the pendant so that the raised edges shine.
