World Environment day is celebrated annually on 5th<\/sup> June and serves as a reminder of the importance of environmental sustainability. World Environment Day is celebrated globally, unifying millions of people across the world to raise awareness of pressing environmental issues. It also gives individuals, communities, and organisations the opportunity to help protect and preserve the environment. At Cooksongold, we are focused on bettering our sustainability and carbon footprint, here is how we are working towards this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecologi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been partnered with Ecologi since 2022. Ecologi is a company that invests in projects to remove more greenhouse gases than our own carbon footprint puts in. Ecologi also work with tree planting partners who reliably plant trees across the globe. Since partnering with them, we have planted over 35,000 trees and have offset over 2,500 tonnes of CO2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will continue to partner with Ecologi and are working towards an aim for a\u00a0full climate active workforce\u00a0by 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recycled Packaging<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are continually looking for ways to improve our packaging solutions to ensure they are delivered safely and sustainably. To tackle this challenge, we have invested in the use of the single use compositable cellulose bag to replace plastic grip lock seal bags. We also use easy peel labels and recyclable paper tape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can buy recycled boxes and gift bags from us. Our Kraft range of recycled packaging is made from recycled materials and is biodegradable. Our eco-textured boxes are crafted from FSC-accredited recycled materials and are also fully recyclable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
