Cookson recycled gold has been recycled back via a traceable process into fine gold. The feed material for it comes in the form of scrap from market sectors such as the jewellery, giftware, medical and electronics industries.
When you buy recycled gold from Cookson Precious Metals you're purchasing a 100% recycled gold with none of the associated human or environmental problems that can sometimes be associated with mining. You're also buying gold whose origins will appeal to your customers - in an increasingly eco-aware marketplace.

For such an expensive piece of equipment one would not expect to find rust on the critical surfaces. Especially from a brand like Durston Tools. Needed to use it so had no choice but to remove the rust. Heard nothing from Durston after contacting them hopefully Cooksongold keep up the good service levels I have received so far. Not the first Durston tool I have purchased with less than the expected quality! Especially considering the premium that is paid for the brand.

The best purchase I ever made, I don't even know how we can survive without it in a workshop. It is a vital part of it and also easy to mount and use. It doesnt come with screws to bolt it in your working table, so I suggest you get those also if you aquire it.

A little smaller than what I expected, even though I've checked the measurements prior to the purchase :) but it will do fine for the time being. Better to have small one than none. Good quality and precise rolling mill to start with. Great for small sized workshops (like mine) or home studios as it can be mounted at the edge of your workbench as it's not as heavy as the bigger ones.

After some ordering issues were resolved I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It is true what is said about Durston mills, the build quality is excellent. The possibilites this mill brings to my studio are unlimited.

Can't rate this highly enough, easy to change the gauge required, no fiddly bits. Definitely worth paying the extra for a superior quality British Made rolling mill. It's a joy to use...... and it's all mine.

This entry level Durston is a little more expensive then the economy rolling mill. But there really is no contest. Durston have gained a worldwide reputation, based largely upon their rolling mills. Their solid build quality combined with accuracy, will last for a lifetime and never let you down. When rusty old Durston units come up on eBay, people fight over them. Why Because they are still the best.If youve saved up for economy rolling mill, then wait just a little longer and keep saving, youll be glad you did. This little unit is superb for the hobbyist or small studio. So if youre looking for an entry level rolling mill, then this is totally worth the little extra. Buy a Durston and youre done. British made industrial quality.
