When I first got my ultrasonic, I used a drop of Fairy liquid. That's fine and I was happy with the results. But as always I was intrigued by this solution and wanted to test it out.I am now a total convert. It helped remove dirt and grease, just as fairy liquid does, but the sea clean also seems to have an effect on tarnish and oxide. Old bronze coins for example seem to come up well. So it definitely does give you an extra level of cleaning, over basic soapy water.It not expensive and a small capful will last for weeks, so great value. I have a small ultrasonic without heater so I use a plastic jug to warm up the old water sea clean in the microwave. That way I can re-use it a few times.
