Believe it or not, when I first saw these scissors many years ago, the salesman was demonstrating them by cutting a pound coin in half with them. sceptical, I've tried it, and astonishingly - you can. I'm not saying it's easy, and it doesn't do your scissors much good. But you can do it, just so it does prove the point. Despite their lightweight design they provide incredible leverage to the jaws. So being a little more sensible, they are great for wire or small sheet.
