This is much better than the plastic version more robust. The minor niggle is that some of the pegs are just a bit too long and so you need to raise the legs so the pegs do not wobble while you wind the wire round them.

A good, sturdy piece of kit. I used one of the large pegs to get a smooth curve in 1mm silver wire, and it worked, though it took a bit of effort as the wire kept slipping down the peg and getting caught between the bottom of the peg and the base. It will probably work better with thinner, more flexible wire, wound round more pegs than I used.
