Helpful clamp but the anvil, for my purpose, is unusable

I'm not very satisfied with this product. It could be a nice object but the anvil part in my opinion is really too soft. Just a very light hammer blow is sufficient to leave a sign. The Anvil beeing almost unusable for what I need... it remains an useful clamp with a shaped piece of wood...

The first tool you'll need

Having 2in1 peg and anvil is incredibly practical. While the peg is quite small, you'll get used to it once you start using it regularly. Anvil is of a good quality and don't get easily damaged while hammering. This tool can be attached anywhere, so it's the first thing you'll need as a beginner with little workspace.

Love the fact thats its a bench peg and anvil in one. Very easy to attach to benchs. Just need to cut a v shape into the front.

Great value peg and Anvil

This is a great little peg and anvil. Very versiatile. You could have them at many places around the work bench if you have the room. The only downside is that the steel anvil is not hard enough and mine has become pitted with my inaccurate hammering

THE starting point

I recently started a jewellery class, having never made any jewellery before. Being a complete novice with no kit this is the first thing I bought. It is a fantastic gaget. Didnt fit my desk so I attach it to the kitchen work top. Does exactly what it says on the tin. I used a piercing saw to cut an inverted V in the front, which was perfect for the job

Beginners Luck

An excellent tool for a beginner, convenient for filingpiercing - just make sure the surface you attach it to is at the right height, or youll end up with backache because of your posture, not the tool.

Very useful but I do find the anvil section to be very soft and dints a bit to easily.

Great product for a small work space

This bench peg has allowed me to turn my kitchen table into my work bench Ignoring my accident burn marks from soldering accidents Im pleased that no saw mark have joined them. Perfect for the hobbyist jeweller or those without the space for a proper workshop. Enjoy

Does what it says on the tin

Just started with a few basics to do some home-work outside of course. The bench peg and anvil is cheap, simple and effective. With very little effort I attached it to a standard IKEA desk and could get on with cutting and saw piercing pieces at home.
