I don't follow hype at all so when the flyer came through the door I just dismissed it. The next time I polished the result was nice and passable...clean up a nightmare. So I decided to try the blue Luxi. Wow what a result. The shine was amazing and no streaks to scrub away. The clean up is so quick because the polish has no fats that stick to the metal and your fingers. I was thrilled with the results I even recommended it to a teacher at the Wilmslow Guild. I would recommend this product to any jewellery maker, it is by far the best compound I have ever used. Thanks Cooksongold for stocking this product.

I am used to using tripoli, rouge and polinum, so was intrigued by these new, water based and animal fat free polishing compounds. The blue bar replaces tripoli and leaves very little residue, and even that is very easily removed by a few minutes in the ultrasonic or some warm water and soap. After an initial polish with this blue bar using a black bristle lathe brush for fine details hard calico mop for larger pieces I used the white luxi bar for my final polish with a soft, stitched muslin mop and a wee swansdown mop.Using the two together gave a lovely high polish with very little mess and even my hands were clean after a quick wash! I wont be going back to tripoli or rouge these luxi bars are definitely the way forward to a cleaner workshop without compromising on performance.
