Asbestos Substitute.
A long lasting surface on which to solder. The board can
be used as is or broken into shapes to help support the
item being soldered.
Also available in block form - 999 968.
Other materials on which to solder are Charcoal(999 970)
and a Ceramic Honeycomb Board (999 972/973).

Ive found that using this along with one of the smaller soldering blocks is perfect. Its a decent size protects the table youre working on.
