Ordering on-line

Where can I view previous orders, or baskets ?
  • First ensure you log onto your account.
  • Then to view past baskets or orders simply click on the your account button in the top right of the screen.
  • From the next menu simply select previous baskets, you can then click any one of your orders / baskets to re-order.
How do I save a basket, without ordering it ?
  • Once you have added items to your basket, click the link located at the top right hand corner entitled 'save basket' , you can then access this basket next time you log in.
How do I know if my order has been placed?
  • Once you have placed your order, you will be presented with an on screen order confirmation page confirming that your order has been placed. You will also receive two e-mails: one to confirm that you order has been placed, and a second when you order has been despatched.
Can I print out my order?
  • On completing the checkout process you will be shown a link to the printable version of your order details Or alternatively our e-mail order confirmation contains a printable PDF of your order.
Can I make changes or add items to my order once i've order it?
  • Once you have clicked 'Click here to confirm your order' link on the Confirm Order screen, we unfortunately cannot amend or add items to your order.
How can re-order an order I previously placed?

  • Simply click any one of your old orders / outstanding baskets, to re-order.
  • Please note the prices in the basket will be updated to reflect the current metal price.
Can I specify an alternative delivery address ?
  • Due to security reasons when paying by credit or debit card goods can only be delivered to the cardholders address.
When I register to use the on-line shop, how long will it take to activate my account ?
  • All new or existing customers wishing to pay by credit card will be automatically registered, and will receive confirmation of your registration details within minutes.
  • For security purposes if you wish to use an existing Cookson credit account, your on-line account will be manually checked and verified and within 1 working day will be live. You will receive a confirmation via e-mail once your on-line account is active.
  • If you are an export account your account will be manually checked and verified and within 1 working day will be live, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail once your on-line account is active.
Is it safe to use my credit or debit card?
  • Shopping at Cooksongold.com is secure. Our secure server encrypts your credit/debit card details. None of our customers has ever reported fraudulent use of or her credit or debit cards as a result of purchases made at Cooksongold.com.
Part orders
  • Our on-line shop will highlight any part orders and provide you with three options :
    1. Part deliver available stock items and send remainder when available. The only part orders that will be subject to a 2nd carriage charge will be those under £10.
    2. Deliver all stock items on a specific date
    3. Reduce Quantity to Stock Level held, or remove the item if there is no stock.
