Fingerprints in Platinum

Hello,

I have a customer who is looking for his n hers platinum wedding rings with a section of their fingerprints on the outside.

Any ideas on the best and most cost effective ways to transfer the prints onto the metal?

I was thinking laser engraving? But cannot find anywhere that will help.
