yes, it does seem a rather long winded process and if not for the Welsh gold element, I would have saw pierced from 18 carat sheet without bothering with a cast version.

Even so, it seems to me that you saved a great deal of waste by carving it in brass first. In case some of our members have not seen them, here are the videos showing the Enset in use.

The handpiece seems relatively quiet, but the compressor might make quite a racket. Dennis
