    Goldsmith that rose is gorgeous. Would you mind sharing how you made it? Or does a magician not share his tricks :-)

    Petals and leaves pierced from flat sheet, shaped on a lead block and planished on tools with hammers, leaf stems and main stem made from wire shaped with files, thorns pierced from thicker sheet and filed to shape. I have made many flowers in my career, mostly life size.
    I have posted this before, it shows my methods of making flowers from design to finished piece. this was a Dog rose specimen made from 18ct gold with hard fired enamels, as you can see I make test patterns from copper to test that my shapes will work.
