Your tree of life is very beautiful, I've always envied those that can wirewrap like that because I never have the patience for it myself. You can certainly see all the work that's gone into it!
Thank you! I have to say that seeing work of other people here makes me wonder if I can ever brush up my skills to be at least a little bit closer to them.
Wire wrapping is time consuming but it is so rewarding! I remember my first wire wrapped pendant... It took me 6 days to make it and I was working 6-8 hours a day...

Of course it is. It's colourful and exuberant and this is a good place to show off your work. Regards, Dennis

Today my parents are celebrating 28 years of marriage, and I have made them this autumnal inspired leaf ring as part of my gift to them; I noticed the leaf themed competition and thought I would enter my sterling silver hand pierced/engraved band, size S.

    Hi Everyone,

Here is my little entry for this month's competition. I've never entered on here before so please be gentle with me!

I used citrine and peridot cabochons to represent the gold of autumn taking over from the green of summer. I deliberately left the central vein of the leaf unpressed, as I wanted to reflect the purity of the gems and how nature is blurred when in transition.

Anyway, here's my sterling silver leaf pendant with a stalk bail wrapping around the citrine cab.

Any feedback, as long as it's constructive, welcome as always.

That is a beautiful ring, Nathanael. I'm sure they are absolutely thrilled with it; I know I would be!

A really complex piece of work Vikki. I'm wondering how you coloured the silver to blend so well? Dennis.
