No you are not the only one Julian I too would like to see it.
There is nothing like turning the printed pages and it is easily my most used reference book. Would it be too expensive to have one sent? Dennis.
Despite working on tech by day, I far prefer a lump of dead tree to reading a screen. However, if the Cookbook were made available electronically, a Kindle-formatted edition as well as a PDF might be an idea?
(While Kindles can read PDFs, they aren't so great on dealing with the typesetting, and anything rendered as an image is bordering on unusable with panning & zooming)
It nothing to do with, price. My cook book seems to live on the sofa, and very rarely find its way onto the book shelf.
I would like to have it on my mobile devices, so i can have it everywhere. PDF or/and Kindle (anything but flash). Though i think PDF would be easier to do.

I have never seen a copy, but as i have just placed an order and it was over the £75 to qualify for a free copy and that I remembered to add it to the order (which is what I have never remembered to do in the past) plus it did not seem to affect the postage very much (though the postage was 14.50 royal mail or 16 by courier I opted for the courier, as it can take over a week by post) I am now looking forward to having a copy of my own. No doubt it will cost me a fortune in the long run as I will be able paw over the nice things in comfort on the sofa and will not be able to resist placing a new order :0)
Sadly Kwant, I'm sure it will be a very expensive addition to your 'reading' list, however, in it's defence, it does provide some additional advice and guidance you don't get when shopping online.
Enjoy ;-D
Oh I don't mind Tabby it will keep me off the crack that is gemstones :0)
