Just in case this has piqued anyone's interest, there might be a little bargain here (well it is at the moment!):

I am so tempted. It is just so cheap.
not bad for a beginner eh? And at that price, well, you can't go wrong. I almost wish I needed one!

Tempting, but if this is from a private seller, you loose a lot of your consumer protection. It says 'used', fair enough, but I can't see 'in working order'. It says buyer collects, but if you then demand to check it out before taking it away, can they refuse?
It also says 'no refunds' and apparently this is legal for a private sale. Dennis.

I think it may be quite old because I'm not sure Enamelaire are still around. My first kiln was one of theirs, a hot plate one not like this. It was quite old I think and that was 30 years ago.
Thank you for sharing them. Very brave I think. Not sure I would have wanted anyone to see my first tries! I think you did brilliantly not melting the silver one as this is very, very easy to do! Keep doing it and keep notes on how you do each one as this will help you learn and make progress.
Cloisonne today lol I ended up with enamel inlaid with silver wire. Too deep a first layer hahahha still it kind of looks nice.
Goldsmith thanks for the keithseldon, fantastic work!
