Default Storing gravers & small handled tools

A tip from my recent escapades... If you mount 15mm pipe clips (e.g. http://www.screwfix.com/p/contract-p...k-of-100/11880 ) to the backboard or edge of your bench, they make a handy place to store gravers, beading tool handles, some small files and similar.

My usual way of parking gravers is to stick them in a cork sanding block, but that's more for the ones I'm using at the time.

Mine are protected by sliced up wine corks, not so easy to get now as most are plastic, and then kept in an old cigar box. That said I only get them out as a last resort, because in my hands the results aren't that great. Dennis.
