Hi everyone, I've just registered with Cooksongold and am looking forward to learning and (if I become experienced) hopefully contributing to the Forum. I'm new to silver jewellery-making and am looking forward to trying some Metal Clay work. There seems to be a wealth of things to learn and I feel that I have only just touched the very edge of the pool. It's good to be here. Chrissie.

Welcome Chrissie, once you get those hands of yours shaping things you will be hooked, metal clay is a start but don't be afraid of getting to know how to use bench tools such as a piercing saw, hammers and various shaped pliers. With a bit of time you can make anything from sheet and wires.
