It's been a while, so hello again!

Hi folks, been away for a few months due to my lovely husband being frighteningly ill with viral encephalitis and needing a lot of my time. He's on the mend but we're looking at 6-12 months before he's back to normal, whatever that is!

Anyway, I'm Mel and I make shinies in my purple shed in the Rhondda Valley of South Wales. I started using silver and copper clay but as the prices of silver in particular have got so silly lately, I'm using sheet and wire in both metals! I still use clay for accent bits though.

Anyway, looking forward to being part of the forum again and asking silly questions!
