I like that!
I like that!
A late entry appeared as if by sleight of hand. Happy new year, Cornelius. I hope they are getting some snow in the French resorts, or they'll blame the Brits (again).
Lots of people in Oxford Street for the sales yesterday with no jackets. Dennis.
Thanks Dennis and all the best to you and yours for the New Year.
As to the lack of cold and snow, well the French will be in a quandry, on the one hand they cannot enjoy the thrills of the piste but on the other they are not having to spend money on heating, which they only do when their tears (at the thought of having to open their wallets) freeze as it is :0)
Great sleigh necklace.
Now to REALLY lower the standard - here are the festive earings I made to wear on Xmas day; I was going to make them in silver but decided to make them in copper first to see whether they would work. After putting them together, I decided I liked them in copper and gave Rudolph a shiny silver nose. The hardest part was trying to form the ear wires which, although I tried to work harden them, still seem to bend quite easily. Ideally I'd prefer a smaller hoop too, so I may experiment with a different shape earwire - maybe a triangular one.
I can't take credit for the style of the earrings - I bought a pair of cow earrings in SanFrancisco probably 25 years ago, and lost them probably 20 years ago so I can't credit the original maker, but the idea has always stayed with me.
I've attached several photos so you can hopefully see how they are put together.
They made me smile, so I guess they were a success at Christmas too. Dennis.
They are cute and made me smile too! Just what one needs for Christmas day.
Very festive! I like that you kept them in copper - think the colouring is very well suited to a reindeer.
They're very clever Susie!!
Hello everyone,
Sorry I am a bit late in revealing the winner, I have been on annual leave.

Oh thank you so much Cooksongold! How very exciting to win :-) And a drill is exactly what I need too as mine is on it's last legs.
