    Default Hurray For The V&A.

Just back from the V&A Kensington. The main attraction, Post Modernism, I could take or leave. I felt it was mainly of interest to students, and the descriptions often left me puzzled.

However just inside was a free exhibition Power of Making, quite small, but full of the most amazing objects. Also a large number of short videos, showing makers at work, with several relevant to jewellers. Spent nearly an hour in there, and came out with exhibition fatigue, but well worth a visit.

Should you be coming to London, it’s on until the new year. Dennis.

Thanks, Dennis. This looks interesting. I've had a look at the website http://www.vam.ac.uk/content/exhibit...wer-of-making/

I wouldn't mind having a go with the prosthetic suit

I have to agree with you there ShinyLauren, I like their jewellery section so much, I bought the book!
and of course, while you are in the area, the mineals section of the Natural History museum is extensive, but I haven't been for a while, so I don't know if it has changed.
