    Default Green Tourmaline pendant

This my latest piece, i'd love to know what you think.
Its a 3ct tourmaline mounted in a silver dish to reflect all that colour.

    thanks guys!
I used delft clay to cast the square dish shape from a wax model. the clamps holding the stone in are whats left of 2 big feed holes (are they called sprues in this case?) that didnt quite work however and i had to solder metal on to make the clamps wide enough to reach round the edges of the stone. lots of oxidisation and imperfections but that green makes everything all right.

I love the way the silver sets off and reflects the green tourmaline. Very nice.

Really beautiful. I love the green reflecting off the silver. Would also look good done as a matching pair of earrings!
