Cracking The Zip Code.

We are in thrall to zippers and when they seize up it can bring out the worst in us. A family friend sat through a performance at the Metropolitan Opera NYC in a wet anorak, which he couldn't undo. His new date was not impressed.
When fabric catches in the slider we might well be struggling to get out the key for our front door. If we manage to release it, the same thing is likely to happen over and over. In our family I am the person with the pliers and I have finally discovered that if you slightly pinch the slider on either side of the pull tab, you will reduce the gap that fabric can catch in. Eureka!
