    Default Hello Everyone

Hi there everyone. I am Antony and look forward to being part of the forum. My background is as a commercial sculptor. I sculpt with waxes and specialise in resins. I have designed everything you can possibly imagine. My favourite scale is very small.

    Hi Antony, welcome.
Looking forward to seeing some of your work. It has been my intention to do some wax carving, everything to hand now but not the impetus to make the first cut and all the reasons to keep on making as usual!

Hi Anthony, I'll be interested to see your work. I make pieces in wax too. It's a very artistic medium.

Thank you, Caroline. I am long in the tooth, hence using wax. I know things are 3D printed now after creating in the computer, but would never stand in the way of future designing.

Thank you. What I like about wax, is that you can alter a design at will.

I’m pretty long in the tooth myself but wax has not really crossed my path since College in the 70s. It could open up a whole new avenue for me now that my sight isn’t so good for glare. 3d printing would be just another expense

I take your point with sight. I am going to invest in a Leica A60 stereoscope soon. Expensive, but will be well worth it at the end of the day.
