    Default Cleaning Alcantara Mops.

Has anyone else had any trouble keeping their Alcantara mops clean? I use the little pendant motor ones and they are no longer responding to being cleaned with a blunt knife.

I put a few of them in a old sock and put them in the washing machine. It seems to have given them a temporary lease of life, but they've shrunk a bit, so although they work fine, I'm not convinced.

Or maybe I should stop being tight & just buy some more They're brilliant, but they don't seem to last as long as normal mops.

I don't rate the alcantara pendant mops much at all. The big ones are ace, though I don't think they last as long as others.

I like the finish for those particularly delicate jobs where a big mop isn't suitable (love the big ones too), but they just don't seem to last that long before they clog up and won't respond to cleaning.
What pendant mops would you go for instead?
