Default Hello from Adrienne (Gothglitz Designs) in Cheshire

I make fairytale and sparkly jewellery in (mostly) sterling silver. I also use gold, PMC, fine silver - as well as recycled materials.

My special one-off pieces have original stories or poems that go with them; like the story of the moon-princess or the poem that goes with the blue rose pendant:

A silver filigree rose pendant with sapphire blue gems and crystals was found within a dusty and battered scroll
almost missed in the dark shadows of the dragon's lair.

On the parchment was writing in a strange and faded script; then below, a rough translation in a newer, bolder hand
    by some long-forgotten scholar ...

    Blue are her eyes
and I would do anything to make them shine for me
to make her happy in her world
for tears would diminish her midnight stare
    and turn it pale

    What does she see?
looking at life through a sapphire lens
    does my love shine through?
I cannot speak, lost in those inky depths
    For blue are her eyes

Had the sparkling pendant belonged to the lady in the poem, or was it a token of love from the writer that tragically never made it to his blue-eyed love? That, we will never know; but it's story should not end here, for love is eternal.
