I saw this a few months ago in The Sunday Times. The blurb said it was a blend of metals including copper. £6900 seems an awful lot to charge for a plain cuff but I guess they reckon they can. :)
TPS hasn't eradicated these calls for us, but they do seem spooked when you tell them you're registered........and don't call again.
Fab! Love the textured back plate.
Well, I rinse and change the water regularly......and store in fresh water - not a total skank. :D
Did that sound patronising? It's just that I've made that mistake in the past. :D :">
I think most of us store our shot in soapy water. I wouldn't have the patience to rinse and dry it!
Are you sure that it's stainless steel?
Congratulations, Dennis!
Wow, you've done a great job - fab!
OK, my original idea is nowhere near finished so I'd like to submit these chainmaille earrings. They're called Blackberry, hopefully for obvious plump and juicy reasons.........although they have...
I've had a look on there and the forum. So, do you reckon it's just that the Anvil screw is still mis-aligned?
Well, I'm having more problems with my saw and I seem to have rendered it unusable. http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/xx30/jantje3/smiley_sad.gif
I adjusted the Anvil screw so the blade no longer...
Thanks, Lee. Appreciate you taking the trouble to answer.
I'll try and sort it next week.
Oh, I'm glad you did that in copper, Kwant - very rich and autumnal.
Dennis, you need to copy and paste the IMG code for your picture. I was going to say *simples* but then I'd hate myself. :)
Well, SD is on a sabbatical, but I believe there was an "incident" :)
Sorry, guys, that sounded spectacularly pink and girly of me. :) In my defence, I didn't "do" tools until I made jewellery so there's some basics I don't know.
I think I know what I'm looking for...
Thanks James.
Not really sure how to adjust it though, or where I get a 5/64" hex key (allen key?) from.
Dennis, I have the 5 inch Knew Concept and the bottom clamp often bends the tip of the blade at a right angle, sending the whole of the blade over to one side. I can fix it by unclamping, bending the...
I'm becoming a great fan of a matte/textured finish with a narrow, highly polished edge for that very reason. :)
I'm really impressed with those anti tarnish tabs. I include them with purchases...
I can wear 1mm in round or square wire but I always make my earwires from 0.8mm round. I've given up hammering the front part - don't like the look and, if you take it too far, that can dig in.
I...
So did mine until someone reminded me to put a bit of lube on them :)
Yes, but they're tiny! What would you do with them?
Eurotool do a range of hole punches for smaller holes (and oval and square). Again, they're for thinner metal though. P word have them. :)
That reminds me of a fun evening, picking the pins out of a batch of mixed shot. :) Worth it though, for flat surfaces and thicker wire pieces.
I'm not sure. It could be that you're supposed to state the actual value anyway, and then claim the second lot of tax from the seller. Can't say I'd be happy doing that. I'm waiting for something at...
