In order to give everyone an even chance, the previous winners of each month are more than welcome to post their designs, but they will not be entered into the judging process for two months (that's two theme competitions) in order to give everyone the chance of winning. After that, they may resume entering as normal and will be included in the competition.

Hatched egg and daffodil free standing 6cm high. Sterling silver. I made if for my mum.
That's beautiful Kim.
Thank you Caroleallen :)
Here's my wee contribution - I blame this competition entirely for the inspiration and the subsequent years taken off my life by soldering the pieces together. This was entirely made from scraps and leftovers, including the freshwater pearls which were left over from my wedding dress.
This was my first ring and I learned a lot, the hard way, making it, but I'm fairly pleased (ok, make that dead chuffed!) with the result.

Beautiful and such varied pieces!! Good luck all :-)
Three really original entries. This will be a vintage month.
Eirish, well done on the birds nest, it's very neat and pretty! Lovely ring.
these are all fun - great entries. Hmmm, would my pod count as an egg???
Here is another one of my Easter Eggs, just for interest and not for the competition.

Hi everyone,
this piece is called: Birth of a Dragon. The stones are purple, red and blue sapphires. Only a fun piece had a little time to spare recently.
How fun and original is that!
That's lovely Wallace.
That is a nice piece Wallace, great use of the chain for some movement.
As an aside what is that plant you have it photographed next to, it is some kind of myrtle?
thank you - appreciate you views too.
Myrtle - not sure on that one. The leaves are not waxy and they are small - it could be. The previous owner of the house had a green kind of living going on back in the hey-day of the building. It could well be. I am only good with rose identification and even that is sketchy since I stopped gardening 14 years ago.
Love the above ring! Dosn't look very 'scrappy' to me!! Beautiful!
*drums fingers* waiting for May lol
