The GIA ( http://www.gia.edu/ ) has released a new iPad app containing a copy of their journal. At he moment it's free, I suspect future editions may be subscription, but we can only hope.
Incidently they also have quite a nice 4Cs app aimed at the public. Since GEM-A now passes its lab work to the GIA , I guess the now has relevance for the UK
