Usually used with a coarse rouge (eg.Radio rouge) in
conjunction with a polishing motor.
Made from numerous circular layers of calico fabric,
stitched at the centre, with a leather washer or similar
material, in the centre of which is cut a hole. (Allows
the mop to fit onto the spindle of the polishing motor).
Also available in 5" (999 AFV) & 6" (999 CBF).
NB.1. A different mop should be used for each metal &
compound.
2. Mops should be cleaned before each use with a mop
rake (build up of compound may harden and leave drag
effects on surface.
3.Mops can be cleaned by soaking overnight in a solu-
tion of hot water, liquid detergent & ammonia.
