Made from steel,the plate has 11 wide oval conicle holes
(Lengths of the ovals range from 4-14mm) all of which
are cut into the plate at 17 degree angles.
The punch is also made from steel, oval/conicle in shape
at the end and cut to a 17 degree angle.
Used for forming, stretching, reducing or changing the
shape of a collet.
To use: place the collet into the appropriate hole,
insert the punch and tap carefully with a hammer.
Collets should be annealed and gradually stretched or
reduced.
