Maun Parallel Action Pliers work with a compound lever action, and provide a grip that remains consistently parallel along the full length of the jaws when opened or closed. These 125mm, snipe nosed parallel action pliers are ideal for working in smaller areas with their tapered width jaws, and will leave little to no marking on metal. These pliers feature smooth, snipe profile jaws which give a square, vice-like grip. They are unsprung and will open to a maximum of 10mm. The jaws of these pliers are 9mm in width at the widest point, and taper to a width of 1.5mm.

You simply can't go wrong with Maun pliers. An essential piece of kit for any workshop. Sold the world over, the design has been copied many times. But these remain the original and the best. These snipe nose versions give you all the advantages of the smooth parallel jaw, but with the fine precise tips. Great for wire work, chain mail and 1,001 other uses.

My favourite pliers from the Larsson range but not quite 100% perfect. They are not suitable when I need pressure applied equal along the length. The Maun parallel action pliers are then better. They can grasp items along the length uniformly. Unfortunately they are not as comfortable as the Larsson pliers especially working for a long period of time, nor are they very useful with small things.
